Take the Field

There was a championship soccer game played in the forest to see which group of animals had the best team. The final game was between the largest animals and the smallest. The largest animals were dominating the game until in the last period, when one of the smallest players final showed up. He went in and it was a totally different match. The little guy was everywhere. He was blocking, defending, intercepting and scoring goal after goal. The late comer led the smaller animals to an overwhelming victory. All the reporters gathered around the tiny champion and one asked why he waited so long to enter the game. At that the centipede replied, “I was still in the locker room tying my shoes.” Why haven’t you taken the field? What aren’t you out there making the winning plays? Are you on hold because you don’t have the right software or your presentation isn’t perfect? You finally call that client you that you have putting off and he just bought from someone else. The prospect you haven’t contacted has signed up with another company. As you leave home in the morning, a neighbor has listed her home with another agent. What is keeping you out of the game? Get in the game.

Take the field. Make the goal. WIN!
